To Whom It May Concern

I had been taking Serrapeptase for many years and was so delighted with the results that I decided to include this amazing product in the Life Long Products range. I have recently received increased enquiries about this product from interested prospective customers, so decided to tell everyone why I started taking this product and how it has helped me immensely.

I have severe back problems due to childhood illness. I contracted T.B. of the spine before I was one year old and spent the next four years in hospital. When I was about ten years old, due to my sudden growth, my spine, which was very weak and damaged at the base, due to the T.B. couldn’t stand the strain, which resulted in me developing Scoliosis, which is a curvature of the spine. Untreated this condition can result in serious discomfort, pain and deformity. I was fortunate that the treatment, which included a corrective brace, resulted in almost full recovery.

I was told by my specialists, at 15 years of age, that I was completely cured of the T.B. and that I had responded well to the treatment for the Scoliosis. Therefore, after the final check up a year later, they informed me that they would only need to see me in the future if I experienced any serious problems. However, I was given the daunting news that I most probably would never be able to work properly, only maybe part-time office work and that I would never stand the strain of pregnancy, but apart from that, as long as I rested continually, they could see no reason why I shouldn’t lead a “normal life”!!

Fortunately, through all of this I had a very strong Mother who decided that the kindest thing to do would not to mollycoddle me and “toughen” me up. There isn’t a day goes by where I don’t thank my Mother for making me think positively about my condition. This is what I did. I have travelled extensively, have two strapping great sons, one being over 6ft 5ins, and the younger one a little shorter. I’ve worked hard all my life, in fact most friends of mine say that I work harder than most people they know. I put this down to a positive attitude, great support, good healthy life style and a lot of luck.

As I got older and continued to “live life to the full”, I occasionally suffered bouts of sciatica and back strain, which was extremely painful and debilitating, but thought that I should expect this after my medical history.

About nine years ago, I started to take Serrapeptase after reading an article in the Daily Mail. It was only some time later when talking to someone about back pain, I realised how much better my back was. Pain is a poor companion, yet when it goes away, we soon forget how awful it was.

Over the years I have realised how much better my back is. Previously, at the end of a busy day when I got home from work, I found it difficult to do the simplest task and was in a lot of pain until I could sit down and relax. I also expected my back to get worse as I got older with wear and tear etc. But, to my delight, my back is the strongest it has ever been. I very rarely suffer daily back pain, only occasional pain when I have been driving long distances or have tried to do too much etc.

I put this mainly down to taking Serrapeptase on a daily basis, I increase the dose if I do have any back pain and that seems to help greatly. I also contribute it to other factors, such as gentle exercise, a good diet and supplementation and of course knowing my limitations.
